Utilising formic acid, a naturally occurring compound, it penetrates brood caps to eliminate mites at all life stages, including those reproducing under the cap. This ready-to-use treatment comes in biodegradable strips with up to a 24-month shelf life and requires no special storage conditions. 7 day treatment time. Importantly, Formic Pro can be applied during honey flow with honey supers on. Ensure your bees thrive with this effective and sustainable Varroa mite control solution.

Formic Pro effectively targets mites in honey bee colonies, including those on adult bees and inside capped brood cells. The biodegradable strips release formic acid slowly over the 7 day treatment period. They can be used during honey flow with supers on. With up to a two-year shelf life from the date of manufacture, beekeepers can store Formic Pro for future use. Packages are available in multiple sizes to treat between 2 to 30 hives, depending on the pack chosen.

For optimal results, monitor mite levels throughout the beekeeping season and treat with Formic Pro when mite levels reach the threshold for your area.
